Great place to buy or rent a bike (recumbents). It is trailside on the Withlacoochee State Trail. Everyone knowledgeable and very nice to deal with.
I was trying to find heavy duty stabilizer wheels for my grandson's 16" bike. The guys at Hamptons Edge said to bring the bike in and they would try to help me. Turned out the bike was a 20" but they found the right ones, put them on and even aired up the tires. The cost was nominal and the service was superb.
I had a problem with my Bionx that was installed elsewhere. I took it to Greg at Trailside Bike and he was able to diagnose the problem in 3 min and fix it in 7 min. He was very professional and didn't even charge me.
What a positive experience...we decided to look into purchasing a recumbent trike...having very little knowledge of them we started visiting the shops...upon arrival at Hampton's Edge in Floral City we were given time and knowledge of the various level of trikes and encouraged to ride each...we left to think it over and research the products on line... when we returned a few days later we were again greeted and our questions cheerfully and professionally answered...this time we purchased a trike...it is worthy of note that we purchased a used, mid level trike that was on consignment and not one of their new products...we were guided to this trike because we were told it best fit our needs at our price point...we are sure that they did not make as much selling us this trike as opposed to one of the new ones but they guided us by our wants and needs, not their profit margin..often we tell people "Sell me what I want and need, not what you want to sell me."...we didn't need to say that here...again, what a positive experience and what knowledgeable, professional people...we suggest you give them a try
The staff at the bike shop are top notch, especially Gary. Whenever we are at the shop with a problem or a question, they make sure our needs are met. They know their stuff.
